Have fun with callouts; Chicago group seeks your favorite public restroom spot
Reader involvement really works when newspapers start having fun with the callouts.
The My Suburban Life, weekly newspaper group in Chicago is doing just that.
The group is asking readers what makes a great public restroom and wants readers to share details about their favorite one, for an upcoming feature story.
Here's the callout:
What does it take to make a public restroom transcend its mere functional status? Does it have style and class? Is it elaborate and ornate? Does it have a sense of fun and whimsy? Or is there something else that makes it unique?
We want to know. Seriously.
